Port Harcourt-based rights Lawyer, Ken Atswuete has been assassinated.
Ken, as he is fondly called was said to have been killed at his residence in Omuchiorlu in Aluu Community Ikwerre Local Government area of Rivers state.
Daily Post gathered that his body was found in the pool of his blood along the road in the community.
The Police in Rivers state is yet to independently confirm the report but a senior officer at the state Police Command said the command is aware that a Lawyer was attacked.
Ken Atswuete is one of the Legal representatives of the APC and in matters involving their members.
Until his assassination, Atswuete was handling the murder trial of an APC stalwart and former Chairman of Asari-Toru Local Government area, Ojukaye Flag-Amachree.
